THE RSL VETERANS’ EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM 2021-2024
The RSL Veterans’ Employment Program was established in 2021, enabled through funding from the Australian Government, to provide free career services to Veterans and partners and children of current or former Defence members. The program proudly supported hundreds of Veterans and Defence family members in their pursuit to find more meaningful work.
From June 2024 the national-led program was closed to new registrations.
FIND CAREER SUPPORT
Employment services are still offered through RSL State Branches and Government programs.
QUEENSLAND, TASMANIA, NEW SOUTH WALES
Delivered by RSL Queensland (and RSL Lifecare in NSW), this established Employment Program is available nationally. The program is tailored to help ex-serving Defence members and the partners of current or ex-serving Defence members find meaningful employment.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
RSL WA works in partnership with Working Spirit to offer personalised, free employment services to members of the ADF, partners of veterans, as well as their working-age children.
VICTORIA
Offered by the Victorian Government, this program assists veterans secure employment opportunities within the Victorian Public Sector. Register to receive job opportunities, invites to employment events and seminars in the Victorian public sector.
South Australia
Delivered by RSL SA, the RSL Veterans’ Employment Program helps veterans, partners and immediate family members of veterans and current serving ADF personnel, to find a rewarding job.
